| Bagan, Myanmar, 2004 | Sprawling across a vast dusty plain, the ancient ruins of Bagan in Myanmar are unhidden. There being no trees to obstruct the view, one may gaze over forty square miles of countryside, upon literally thousands of temples. This photograph is taken from the top of one of them around sunset time. Bagan also happens to be a very peaceful place to relax, where transport basically is by foot, horse cart or bicycle.
