Bangkok, Thailand, 1989 | Boats ply upstreams and downstreams on the Chao Phraya River, a vital artery of the Thai capital Bangkok. Which of course is not called Bangkok in Thai. In Bangkok, Bangkok is called Khrung Thep Mahanakhorn Bovorn Rattanakosin Mahainthara Ampornpiman Avararnsathit Sakkatattiya Avisnukamprasit. Or in short: Khrung Thep. Picture taken on a river boat travelling towards the Golden Palace. December 1989.
