Surat Thani, Thailand, 2002 | This is one of the first photographs taken with my new digital Nikon. I turned to digital photography in December 2002 after having bought a Nikon D100 body in Penang, Malaysia. I still keep my original Nikon lenses, but I am not a big fan of changing lenses all the time. Most of my pictures are taken with a standard 35 mm. In the digital world my 24 mm has become my standard lens.
On my way from Surat Thani northwards towards Bangkok, I took this picture in the Southern Thai town of Surat Thani. Surat Thani is hub for travellers continuing to the beautiful island of Koh Samui.
